Facebook's New Artificial Intelligence Creates a Photo 3D Avatar!

Social media giant Facebook is investing in different technologies that will allow you to interact with your friends. The company can create a 3D avatar with a photo artificial intelligence software at the research stage.
The rapid development of artificial intelligence software is possible with large investments of giant technology companies. Google, Facebook, Neuralink, Amazon and many more are preparing to build on future artificial intelligence. Some are medicine, some are astronomy, some are voice assistants, there are now dozens of different billion dollar projects. One of the most striking of these investments comes from Facebook, which puts the term social media in our lives. The giant company is testing different virtual experiences to interact with your friends.

A software that is still in research phase can create a 3D avatar of a single photographer:

Later on, these 3D avatars will be available for Facebook Spaces, which enables Facebook to use in the US and socialize with friends through virtual reality:

If you remember earlier, Google has just announced the artificial intelligence software that creates a 3D face pattern from a photo. But this software was a bit different than what Facebook did. The common denominators of people's faces were trying to get to the surface and describe similarities.

Facebook's entirely entertainment-based software, at the moment, needs a lot of human intervention and means that it will evolve day by day.

If the quality of the images presented is inadequate and there is no obvious face, the software will automatically evaluate the other options. As you know from the Animoji feature that Apple introduced on September 12 at the launch of iPhone X, it is based on the logic that emojis with fixed graphics move according to the expressions. Facebook is said to be able to use this software for personal emoji other than Spaces.

You can reach the whole of the academic research on the software.
