Singapore Brings Additional Carrier to Prevent Traffic Jam

Singapore, a small enough island state, bans the purchase of more than one vehicle to prevent traffic congestion.
Starting next February, Singapore residents will not be able to use additional vehicles in the small city-state. The government, which will ban the island from being exposed to traffic jams, is investing billions of dollars in public transport projects.

The new decision is the final decision of the Singapore Transportation Authority, which limits the rate of new cars and motorbikes by 0.25%. Vehicle taxes and license fees do not need to be factored into the fact that they have 4 times as average vehicle ownership. Singapore is one sixth of the smallest state in America. If it is 12% of the area it has, it is covered by roads.

This ban will be addressed again in 2020. However, over the next few years, Singapore will have to serve a total of 600,000 private and rental cars with a population of 5.6 million. However, vehicle owners will be able to replace their old vehicles with new ones.

This will not apply to vehicles and buses in good condition. Thus, the 0.25% growth rate will be maintained. It is also good news for autonomous vehicle experiments.
